I was fooling around in Sunset today and decided to make over a few Townies, I only did new hairstyles/colors, facial hair, sometimes eye color, makeup and "tans", but no facial features were tweaked ...

Thank you very much. Ever since I discovered Marty in my one legacy game I've used a tweaked version of him in my various "populate the town with my own sims" games. Yes Max is always very sweet and fits with my gardening sims very well but there is something about his features that seem a little puckish. If I ever get around to playing a fairy I might make him one.
On Morty and almost all my makeovers I lower the mouth and/or raise the bottom of their nose and/or lower their jaw. All this is to make a small increase of distance between their nose and mouth. I almost always make their lips a little plumper by increasing the thickness of the top and bottom lip. Lately, and on all of these makeovers, I have been making their lip purse out a little, like they are puckering up. Most sim mouths have the lips plastered against their teeth.
BTW, great job on the cowpoke household. I never played in AP very much and it's been awhile, since when Pets first came out. I might have to check it out again.
