Trouble with 'Sims 3 stopped working' and Error code 12s

My game is in a lot of trouble at the moment. Recently I had my sims over in China for a while. I had the aging and travel time off and things were going smoothly. But all of a sudden when I come back...

@coco seasonic makes a good power supply unless somehow you got a faulty PSU but I will leave that out for now.

If your able to start new games without issue I suspect your old save is corrupt . Do you have prior saves to go back to and test
