I found Phil heading towards the martial arts area with the intention of working on the practice pole. I diverted him to the alchemy table.

His lifetime wish is to master the alchmey skill and he has no points in that skill yet.

I've sent him there to read about alchemy a few times but he never seems to get past the martial arts equipment.

Phil finally gained an alchemy skill point and wanted to join the Alchemy career. He had to visit City Hall to sign some papers to join this career.

Iris Harmon and Alan Flanagan were there too. Alan is son of another of Haley's sisters, Hannah. Hannah found her husband in Dragon Valley.

Later in the morning Eric had an opportunity to go to the library to perform for tips. He went inside but couldn't find anywhere to perform. This is where he ended up. I don't think it counts as performing for tips at the library.

Phil was cold and I found he'd caught a Cleopatra butterfly on his solo hunt. I wanted him to find some more butterflies so I sent him into the butterfly house - after telling him to change into his outdoor outfit.
