Eddie and Chris used some of the household funds to build themselves a house in the future. All of the other household sims will be able to use this house as the game progresses.
Eddie tried a bit of mining in the wasteland.

Chris examined the door to the lost ship.

She inserted the key she made.

The door opened and she went inside.

This time she got the ability to dream about Sims 4.
They collected a lot of nanites, seeds and crystal flowers while in the wasteland.
I added a basement for their garden and added the soil rugs so they could plant their seeds and crystals.

Chris took time to do some drawing.

After they planted all of their seeds and crystals they needed to hire a gardener. The gardener couldn't get inside to work on the indoor garden, so I added a lift to their lot that the gardener could use. Then allowed the paparazzi to get access to the inside of their home.

It rapidly became obvious that Eddie needed to learn how to make a gadener chip and build them a Plumbot to do their gardening.

Eddie was able to make the plumbot, but he could only add a handiness, a cleaner and a fishing chip. He couldn't make the gardening chip as he needed a crystal or something that he didn't have.
So the plumbot went fishing and Eddie and Chris got to know each other a little better. They are already best friends.
