Ultimate Sim Challenge, second attempt.

Real life got in the way so I didn't have much time to play today. I decided to do a small little picture recap to get everyone new to the challenge up to speed without having to check out the original story. It won't be as in depth as the original season one but will give you a better idea what she had to go through to get to this point.

The first thing Brittany did was buy an empty lot in Sunset Valley, then she headed off for University to obtain a business degree, and also to max the rebel social skill.

Brittany had 7 roommates while in University, all with distinct personalities.

One skill that Brittany had to work on was social networking. I don't know if some of you know, but at level 7 you get a thing called the Relationship Transmogrifier. This allows you to instantly change your friendship status with any Sim or change relationships between other Sims. She also has to do every skill challenge for every skill so this includes five blogs. You have to finish all of this by season 19.

Charisma was another skill that had to be learned so Brittany met many different Sims. Charisma and Social Networking together make it very easy to make friends. Here she is talking to celebrity Ben Trigger, gaining her first celebrity point by impressing him.

This season, your Sim has to be a werewolf so I made sure that Brittany got bitten during the first week of University.

Alchemy was the third skill and it was a freebie skill so it doesn't have to be maxed, although I did work hard to get it close.

Eventually, Brittany got her degree and had most of her three skills maxed.

The challenge creator, Llandros2012, used this house and since he doesn't care if people want to follow along with him, I decided to use it as well.

As a werewolf, Brittany collected all these insects, gems, and metals. Any extra's could be sold off so Brittany had some nice money to start off with.

You also had to have two roommates during the entirety of the season. I ended up with Ian Bowler and Abraham Finkel.

Brittany's first job ever was as a daycare professional. Due to game problems, I had to completely wipe out my Sims and start the challenge over. Instead of Abraham Finkel, I got Dave Ramsey as well as Ian Bowler for my roommates but not much else changed.

Brittany needs a husband so she can have the required child per town. Christopher Steel was the very first husband Brittany ever had, this is when the first met. By this time, she was worth at least $250,000.

Brittany had a nice Snowflake Day with Christopher, the reason for the costumes is that this update was very close to Christmas 2018.

Eventually, Christopher proposed to Brittany and she gladly accepted. Christopher was going to be a big help since Brittany was locked out of most skills during this time period.

I can't remember how many days it was, but soon after the proposal, I set up the wedding. Brittany became Brittany Steel from this moment on.

By this time, Brittany had quit the daycare career for the business career. Due to her degree, she was able to start at level 4 but in this picture, she is level 6. Not too much later, the Steel's became the richest family in Sunset Valley, even richer than the Goth's, Alto's, and Landgraabs, mainly due to Tiberium.

The Steel's welcomed their daughter, Lauren Steel. Brittany was on maternity leave so she had to wait for her next couple promotions.

It wasn't very long before little Lauren aged up to a toddler. Both Christopher and Brittany were very good parents and I just adored this little family.

When Brittany finished the daycare career, I had Christopher join the police force. I remember that some people said he made a great cop.

Eventually, Lauren aged up to childhood. She was a genius, easily impressed, and a cat person. Sadly, she never got that cat since Brittany was kind of forbidden to have one. As you'll see in a few updates, Lauren really lived up to the genius trait.

Lauren had learned all the toddler skills she could and she still continued to learn all the ones a child can learn.

Lauren learned logic astonishingly quick due to her mother protesting about unskilled Sims. Some Simmers don't know about this but you'll have to ask me if you want further information as this is just to get everyone up to speed.

Brittany reached level 10 of the business career, knocking off another requirement for the season.

Lauren was a bit awkward as a teenager but she had a lot of skills by this time and quickly became an all time favorite Sim. She gained frugal as a trait when she aged up.

Christopher aged up to an elder shortly before Lauren became a young adult. He retired from the police department and spent the rest of his life in Sunset Valley fishing or gardening.

Brittany joined the part-time bookstore job as her final job in Sunset Valley. She went through the levels rather quickly. By this time, she had $615,000 in the bank and the house was probably at least worth $40,000.

Now Marty and Justine Keaton had a son named Mack Keaton. He had some truly awful traits but he and Lauren fell in love anyway so I continued their romance. By this time, Lauren had almost completed her lifetime wish even though she was still a teen. She was more skilled than her mother at this point.

Lauren aged up very well for a young adult. She wears a Diesel shirt, shorts, and flip flops even in the winter. You'll see what I mean as she still dresses this way when I start Season Two tomorrow.

After a quick wedding, our family of four packed up their bags and got ready to move to Riverview. They original did Riverview, Twinbrook, and part of Barnacle Bay in the first attempt but I lost my saves so this new attempt starts right after they move to Riverview. I hate that I have to do the skills over again for the next three towns but it will be fun to change things up a bit.

@king_of_simcity7 Thank you. It's going to be so nice playing this family again, although I'm going to do things a bit differently to change it up from the original attempt.

@queenvortex808 Not sure if you're interested but I tagged you just in case since I knew you liked the story of Brittany's mother Ava.

Beginning of Season Two, the Ultimate Sim Challenge

Before starting the update, I've made a few changes to how I'm doing this challenge. First of all, Lauren will now follow Brittany completely through the challenge as a helper Sim. This means she will share her mothers immortality. Everyone else will still pass away when it is their time. Secondly, Brittany will still have a child in every town and this child will get married and have one kid. There will no longer be any great grandchildren at all. The grandchildren will be given to SP as young adults and will either not follow Brittany when she moves to the next town, or will be moved through porter.

2. Riverview

Fine Arts Degree - Rebel Social Influence maxed and create 1 blog.
Year 1 - Culinary
Year 2 - Art Appraiser (Appraisal Branch)
Year 3 - Spa Receptionist
Primary Skills - Cooking / Painting / Street Art / Guitar
Free Skill - Artisan
Activities - Collecting
Travel - you must travel to each destination to purchase the recipes. (Brittany already did this in season one)
Occult - Human
Family - produce at least 1 child through one of the various methods in the game. Child must remain in the family tree for the duration of the challenge. (Read above for the changes I made).

This time around, Brittany and family moved to the same house they did in the original Season Two, Beaux Chateau. While Christopher, Lauren, and Mack did their own things, I set up Brittany's second blog, Blogging About a Fine Arts Degree.

After taking her test, which she failed, Brittany enrolled for a Fine Arts Degree. She will stay for two weeks and work on maxing the four skills, as well as getting her degree. Christopher and Mack waved her off, Lauren was too busy reading a book.

You'll notice that this Brittany looks the same as Ava's Brittany does. Once she gets her degree, I'll give her a makeover to differentiate between the two stories. Anyway, first thing she did is go to the Advisor and ask for money. She's going to need a lot of it.

Since she doesn't know anyone and she needs to, I had her meet as many people at the Meet and Greet as she could. This also helps out with her blog if you remember me saying that during the last attempt.

Brittany did her favorite activity again, protesting about unskilled Sims. She does this for the skill boost moodlet when she needs to level skills quickly.

This week I am having her work on painting and cooking. She listens to cooking while she paints so that I can do two skills at once. Currently, she has cooking at level 3.

On Monday, Brittany had three classes so I didn't take many screenshots. If you recall, I don't take many University screenshots since it is repetitive.

Ultimate Sim Update: Fine Art's Degree

Brittany has to redo the skill challenge where you make 50 and 75 meals so this time around, I had her start in college so she won't have as many to do back at home.

She continues to go to class everyday, not much else. Her weekend will be her downtime, expect better updates then.

Brittany still listens to cooking while she paints. Llandros left painting as a skill this season but the painter career is now in a later season. These paintings will be kept until she needs them.

For breakfast one day, she made French Toast that was excellent quality, even with the cheap stove. I used MC to make it fireproof since Brittany can't do handiness yet.

Brittany continues to meet people and blogs when she does. She is at about a 3 star blog, she already maxed the skill though in Season One.

She also did another protest to get the skill boost moodlet. She is now at level 10 cooking, and level 4 painting. She'll continue to paint during her weekend, then will switch to listening to the guitar tabcast and Street Art.

***Looking at the screenshots I took last night, most of them are boring so these updates are a bit small compared to when she gets back to Riverview.

It was pretty late and Brittany's social bar was getting low. I had her call her husband Christopher for a little chat.

Brittany's already mastered cooking but she still has all the skill challenges to do again since the restart. I had her make some breakfast which she then ate with roommate Anoki Moon. I was watching Anoki and saw he has really muscular arms. I think they must have set his muscle slider at the max.

Like the last time, I've been having Brittany work on her blog between classes. The only reason she has to do one for the first five seasons is that one skill challenge says to have five 5 star blogs. I space these out so I'm not constantly doing them. She sold her blog for $6,000.

Today was also Friday which means that she had finals for this week. She passed all her classes and will now have one more week before she returns to Riverview.

Brittany had some more French Toast for supper and since I decided to spend some money on a better fridge and stove, the quality is much better although I wish I had perfect ingredients.

Every night after she is done for the day, I've been having her paint. Skills only need completed by the end of the last season, but it helps to try and get them out of the way. Remember that Brittany still has 17 seasons to go after this one but it will get much easier as she won't have University and there will also be less skills to learn the further she goes.

On Saturday, I gave her a different shirt then had her meet some more people. I may be wrong, but I think her name is Carol Chen.

Later on, she met another Sim but I forgot her name. Brittany got invited to a party but since hardly anyone was there, I had her leave shortly after.

Brittany's still at University and this Sunday, I had her eat breakfast before starting a busy day.

After breakfast, I had her buy every recipe with her MultiTab. The first one I had her read was Fruit Parfait and the reason is that it is one of the quicker meals to make, making it easier for the 50 and 75 dishes skill challenges. She has all the vacation destination recipes at home in a chest so she'll read those later.

Since school resumes tomorrow, I had Brittany do a protest so she could start work on the guitar and street art skills, the main focus for this week.

Afterwards, I sent her back to her dorm to get started on the street art skill. By the time she went to bed, her guitar skill (listened to tabcast) was at 3 while her street art skill made it to level 2.

Monday morning, I had Brittany make two batches of Fruit Parfait before she had to get ready for the day. You may think making 50 and 75 dishes is hard but it's really not that bad.

I then had her read another easy recipe before having her work on street art again. I resorted to using Potent Invigorating Elixir's to keep her up during University, she can sleep more back in Riverview even though she doesn't really have to.
