Unique gnomes

Sorry, but they'll move around as the others...

The only non-magical gnome that doesn't move is the decor gnome (base game) that you can buy in the catalog.

I know a lot of people find them annoying/creepy but I love them! <3 I like to post screenshots of these gnomes on my blog.

Someone can double check but I think if the gnomes are in a specific spot on a community non residential lot when the days reset happens they go back to how they were originally.On a shelf,in a display etc.

There are several different magic gnomes that pop around the lot and do annoying things such as turn on the TV or stereo and links, that can't go into the fridge, appear all over the place too. They like to lie or stand in front of objects the sims need to use such as the shower or fridge, so if your sim can't have a shower, or something similar, it can be useful to go see if there is a gnome in the way.

Apart from the magic gnomes there are several different gnomes you can buy from the buy catalog, depending on what Expansions, Stuff Packs or Store content you have.

If you plant plasma fruit you'll get the vampire gnomes appearing and they do their thing which can make you either very rich or totally creeped out. They like to turn teddy bears into vampire gnomes. The way to get rich is to buy lots of teddy bears and place them anywhere on your lot. When the vampire gnome turns the toys to vampire gnomes, sell the extra vampire gnomes. You can make almost 1, 500 simoleans for each one. I think the cost of the teddy bear is about 40 simoleans and the gnome gets you a lot, I think it's 1,500.

Wow! Interesting. I'll have to check the second list posted here. The first link didn't have one of the gnomes that I had been sent in the mail as a gift. I'll have to research and find out what it is.

I had no idea there were so many different ones. And while I agree they are cute, funny and an unexpected surprise, my annoyance is when I can't see that they are blocking something that I've sent my Sim to do and it takes me a while to notice that a gnome is laying on the floor in the way.

Seeing these amazing collections, I wish I hadn't started selling off the Butternut ones. I have around 4 on the lot right now and I know I've sold at least that many. If only you could lock them to a particular area.

Another thing is some age and die leaving a tombstone. The tombstone can b e sold or kept. If kept they have 5 environment points.
