University + Education Help!?

I'm guessing I'm missing something but I just wanted to double check a few things.

So my Sim wants to go to Uni and I'm planning for him to join the Education career. I read that it was patched in 2013 so that any degree will now benefit the Education career but when I take the aptitude test it isn't listed under any of the degrees. Then when I go to enroll it's only listed under the buisness degree which I wasn't planning to do?

I was hoping some one could clear up my confusion :lol:

Does any degree actually help? Or is it actually only buisness?

    I wasn't even aware that the Business degree contributes to the Education career. If not averse to using mods, the NRaas Careers mod has an Academics add-on module that provides for an entire Education major and extends the other majors across the self-employed and Ambitions type careers that otherwise have no benefit.

    Education uses the Charisma skill from the Business degree. And the Logic skill from the Technology degree.
