University loading screen taking FOREVER to load! Help?

For the past few days I've been trying to send a sim to university and every time I send them off all seems fine, they drive off in the van and the loading screen comes on, the little bar gets more gr...

Gamekitten: I've not heard of an express cache but I'm definately going to look into getting one now! Every other game I play is super fast it's just this one, it usually takes about 15-20mins to load up my save file I'd be happy if I could half that :)

Lauravalerie: I know it's wierd isn't it, I've never had it happen before. I will try that now.

I tried a new town, sim and save file and I'm still had the same problem :( I'm DYING to go to university!
