Anyhow, here's my very Unpopular Opinion: The Sims actually show intelligence. Not necessarily 'smart' but intelligent.
I have not harmed a Sim since TS1. Even then I was not that bad although I did have fun building a hedge around a house and managing to set it on fire. The fire took the whole hedge out within about a day and a half!
