If you want level 10 advanced technology skill for children, I think you need them to have Future Sim trait from birth, and then never leave the future world until they age up to children. I almost had 100% consistency if done that way.
I think the glitches for Future Sims are nothing more than few animations issues. Future Sims use holograms while talking, and sometimes those holograms don't show up even though sims make the same hand gestures that is supposed to create those holograms. Or the hologram shows up a few meters above the sims for some reason. But that should be about it unless I am missing something.
