I have no reason to prove myself but you may be familiar with some of my work. I can't mention them on this forum because they potentially violate the Terms of Service.
As for the rest, believe me when I say EA can make the game 64-bit if it wants to.
FYI, the EA Webkit code compiles into EAWebkit.dll (The Sims 3\Game\Bin). 64-bit browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer 7-10 64-bit) need a 64-bit EAWebkit.dll to load it. The EAWebkit.dll included with The Sims 3 is obviously the 32-bit version because it's referenced by 32-bit programs (principally the launcher).
