What ages are each of the life stages?
I've always wondered if sims' age were based on our years rather than days, how old would they be? Here's how I see it roughly: Baby: 0-2 years Toddler: 2-5 years Child: 5-12 years Teen: 13-1...

I take a somewhat similar approach with life stages; different numbers, but same idea.
Babies: 1 or 2 days
Toddlers: however long it takes to do the potty-training, walking, talking, and such
Child: set at 14 days, but I usually throw a birthday party to speed things along
Teen: again it kind of depends on the family/world dynamic. I think I currently have it set at 21 days
Young Adult: 30 days
Adult: 30 days
Elder: whenever the Adults are ready to retire, I either throw a birthday party or toss an Age of Instant at them
