What are your sims 3 rituals?

I am always pausing briefly during my sim sessions to make my son endless cups of coffee (yes, I spoil him :# :D ), wash a few dishes while I wait for my kettle to boil, start prepping a meal, or set a load of laundry so I don't bother about making sure everything is done before I start. Having said that, I guess I do have a kind of ritual.

1. Check the forum. Although the forum is deathly quiet of late and there's very little to read/respond to, I still like to check before I go offline to play.
2. Start loading my latest save.
3. My game takes about 5 minutes to load so I take advantage of that time to make a cup of coffee/tea and go to the bathroom whether I need it or not ;)

My game takes up to 45 mins to load, so..
1. Watch youtube videos on my nintendo switch. My phone seems to dislike 720p60fps videos. It can handle 720p videos fine.
2. Check my emails.
3. Listen to music on my Echo Dot.
4. Listen out for any meows coming from the other side of my door. I know then that my sister's cat wants attention.
5. Save frequently.
6. Read the news.
7. And the forums. On my phone. I really should use my second laptop for that.

1. Changing into some very comfortably trousers
2. Getting done everything, which has to be done for the next working day
3. Launching the game
4. Getting everything done which must be done in the household (well, not everything :D , mostly it´s just putting the dishes of the morning into the dishwasher, preparing some food (in the microwave or ordering some) getting coke and a glass to the desk)
5. Using the bathroom for one more time
6. Sitting down at the desk, either with some food or waiting for it
7. Playing

1. Put on some comfy clothes.
2. Turn the lights off.
3. Open up Fraps.
4. Launch game.
5. Browse iPad or listen to music during the loading screens.
6. Play! :star:

When it's saving I like to get up and do other things because I hate staring at the screen willing for Error 12 not to show up :lol:

1. Definitely taking care of those pesky needs like bladder beforehand so I can increase my uninterrupted play time.
2. Gather up snacks. Lots of snacks. All the snacks. Probably I'll start with lunch or dinner as well.
3. Lots of stuff to drink. Whatever the obsession of the time is. Right now I'll just have like a big bottle of juice.
4. Light a candle or incense (not an EVERY time thing. But where I can. Mostly depends if I think my energy might plummet to zero and I'll just pass right out).
5. Change into comfy PJ's (If I'm not already in them).
6. Set my fan or heater to the comfiest temperature. Also, get all the blankets to hide under unless it's summer and I'm dying already.
7. CC run. Install if successful
8. Start loading my game.
9. Start picking what music or show/movie I'm going to listen to while playing (I don't actually really pay attention to shows while simming but need background noise. When I had Netflix I almost always put on Gilmore Girls, because it's great to actually watch while loading or if my sims are doing something boring but when I miss long periods of the show it doesn't matter since I've already seen it 500 times lol).
10- (if game still loading by the time I finish step 9. Rare these days.) Surf the interwebs, usually the forums or maybe youtube. Also minimize out (or whip out my phone) every so often while actually playing to surf the web.

1. Clear my desk of any books, notes, or stationery and put them away
2. Draw the curtains shut (I usually play at night)
3. Turn on heater if it’s cold (as it has been these few nights!)
4. Turn on my desk lamp and turn off the ceiling light
5. Headphones on!
6. Plug in my laptop cooling pad and set my laptop’s fans to maximum
7. If necessary, open CC Magic and un-check any CC I won’t need for this session
8. Launch the game!
9. Browse the forums while it loads
10. Listen to music on my phone if I’m creating a Sim that day

Mine are:

1) Use the restroom

2) Sign into Origin and launch the game

3) Talk to my mom on the phone while it's loading

4) Play! :)

5) Take screenshots and save often

1. Prepare myself by wearing the comfiest PJ’s I have. (I usually tend to play at night)
2. Get myself a nice cold cup of water
3. Turn on my wax warmer or light some candles
4.Get my softest, fluffiest blankies and surround myself with them so I am nestled in like a cozy caterpillar.
5. Turn on a tv show (right now it’s Seinfeld :p)
6.Boot up the game.
7.Read on my iPad on either the forums or tumblr while it’s loading.
8. Play o:)

I'm about to start my second sim session for the day so I'm off to put on the kettle and put a meat pie in the oven :D

I like to sim at night for a few hours but won't sim if it's too late (past midnight).

Make sure to get any important things around the house done

Throw a load of laundry in if I can

Get into comfy clothes if I'm not already

Get some ice water or unsweetened tea

Turn on the office fan if it's summer

Pull up Fraps

Sometimes I leave notes for myself if I want to install a certain piece of CC or mod so I do that.

Poke at my phone for 2-3 minutes while the game loads
