I always wondered this about other players. I feel like if I send my sim to bed too early they're up to early, but they get tired early also.
XD What about your sims? Do you just do whatever or do you have schedules for them?

My sims have a relaxed schedule, not strict at all but with a few guidelines. I always want them to get a full night's sleep and have a full breakfast, plus max their fun (or close), before work or school, so I don't let them stay up too late. Other than that, I generally have them skilling in the evening and stop when their moods drop and they're not learning quickly anymore. If it's too early for bed, i.e. they'll wake up too early, I'll have them do something fun for a little while instead, like play with a toy or read in bed.
The only other guideline is that when I'm playing a couple, I always have them go to bed together if feasible. Occasionally it doesn't work out, but that's the goal and they generally stay on the same schedule.
lol poor simmies, but they get to test all your fabulous builds. So its got its +side.
The only schedule my sims have is things like going to school or jobs. but the professions don't have work times so i can just make them stay awake all night with excessive coffee drinking.
No real schedule, or a variable schedule. I like to leave it up to them to see what they're up to. I prefer for them to get enough sleep to be fully rested, but if they don't, then.. well, they just don't.
I don't have a set schedule for them. I run NRAAS Relativity and set it to 8 (22% of normal speed) which slows the game down to the point where I can get things done normally and still have enough time for my Sims to do other things. It almost feels like a "real day" instead of one hastily run through.

Anyhoo, to answer your question @graceymanors , my Sim's schedules vary, depending on the personalities of the Sims and the size of the family.
But most of the time, they have pretty relaxed, fulfilling their needs, schedules. Only cleaning when it's absolutely necessary. Just like me in real life! 😄👍🏻😁
@emorrill- if I run my game too fast, this old Gen X brain of mine starts to sputter and get confused. So I like a nice leisurely pace. 🤣
If I'm filming, my sims' needs are on static and they never sleep, eat or anything else. Poor things. If I'm playing, I give them the 'doesn't need a lot of sleep' (or whatever it's called) lifetime happiness reward as soon as possible cause they sleep soooo much.
Depends onb their job and the personality I feel like playing. I play Rachel as going to bed early since it could make sense for someone battling illness. Most of the time I try for 10 pm, it does go later sometimes if I have them doing stuff.
