What Did You Buy from the Sims 3 Store Today?

Is anyone else actively watching the Daily Deals and purchasing store content? I've been spending about 25-50 points a day, and I have been getting about 2 larger sets a week for free.

Thank you SO much RadicalChick  for posting the deals everyday!

Tomorrow afternoon, I should be able to get this set for free. Which should then set me up to get some larger sets for free. I am pretty excited about that. My favorite gameplay is rags-to-riches and apocalypse themes, so I prefer to buy things that will look the most interesting and authentic after I have used the color wheel to use a grunge pattern. The Mid-Century stuff will look great as grunge objects!

424 ) A Mid-Century Modern Trailblazer Set / 468 / 1250 / 63% / 2 hours
Part of: When Worlds Collide Collection
Repeat Deal: This is a medium price for this item (More than # 689, # 576, but less than # 551)

Recently I got Man Cave for free.

386 ) Man Cave Compilation / 750 / 3000 / 75% / 2 hours
Not part of any set or compilation
Includes: It's Game Time; Level Up Collection; Championship Dreams
Repeat Deal: This one of two deals with the least expensive price for this item (Same as # 714 but less than # 339, # 336)

Island Villa was free for me and now Island Escape Compilation should be free when it goes on sale.

365 ) Island Villa / 98 / 347 / 72% / 2 hours
Part of: Island Escape Compilation; 4 items included in Sandy Shoals Sea Shanty
Repeat Deal: This is the least expensive price for this item (Less than # 451, # 459)

And I splurged on the Now and Then Manor. I really wanted the grunge items.

390 ) The Now & Then Century Manor / 494 / 1900 / 74% / 2 hours
Not part of any set or compilation
Repeat Deal: This is the least expensive price for this item (Less than # 404, # 715)

  • I have Sims3 Store Cash to spend but nothing to buy for myself.  My 1st wife (deceased, namesake for this acct) was the Sim maker.

If there are people skilled at making Sims without custom content (often missing from the internet and sometimes buggy + it slows stuff down), I would love to buy your Sims with my Sim points. Yes, I know I can download free sims on the Exchange and many other places, but the point is to gift people who are still trying to collect Store stuff.  I paid probably well over $1000 back in the day but ended up with extra points even after giving some gifts out years ago.

Please message me as to how you would like to share Sims.  I am mostly concerned with NICE/interesting faces, coordinated clothing and an overall attractive look, not the stats (easily alterable), but if you have a Sim with a story, please feel free to share it.  If your Sim was posted on the exchange 3 years ago, that is ok, just share the link.

I am happy to friend anybody and send in-game gift mails but also to buy you things on your Sims 3 Store list.  Let me know what you want most.

If there are gifted Sims 3 lot builders, there is one thing I would most like and prefer not investing the time into making myself -lots for the Oasis Landing, especially a high-end large house.  For that, I think gifting a venue/world would probably be appropriate.  Please PM before spending 100 hours building bc I only have so many points to spend and would feel guilty in 20 people all worked hard but there were not enough points to go around -might have to arrange a contest?

  • ladygreeneyes649  It would probably be easier if you made a separate request thread in the Creative Corner subforum and described what you were looking for in more detail, or provided some examples.  People can have very different tastes in sims and builds, and you might want specific kinds of builds, or to fill certain lots and not others.

Even if you're not looking for anything more specific than an expensive house with plenty of space that fits with the theme of Oasis Landing, that still narrows things down somewhat, and you also might have a particular lot in mind for it that's a certain size.  Not to mention, if you don't own all expansions and stuff packs, or you do but generally play with some disabled, that's an important data point.

Some builders still active on this site already own most or all of the store and might be willing to build something without needing to be "paid" in SimPoints.  Or maybe some of them have existing builds they or you could adapt with minimal effort.
