What do you do with your Simoleons?

I have the same problem when it comes to money...

My Sims reach the top of their career and start earning ridiculous amounts of money each day from good performance raises. I believe one of my Sims was earning about 35,000 Simoleons a day.

Currently sitting at around 3 million and trying to adjust lifespan to prevent this kind of thing happening again too easily.

Still no idea what to do with all this money.
