What do you do with your Simoleons?

In the early days my sims save. No maid, small house etc. I also encourage the growing of lots of fruit and veg. Then as they progress up the career ladder I allow them to move or renovate and buy a few nice pieces for the house. They might even get curtains :D Finally when wealthy I encourage them to invest in businesses and fast cars which need to be bright red as all sports cars should be :D :D This mixed strategy seems to work well for me.
