What do you feed your sims?

I often have them eat quick meals at community lots as new arrivals until they've gotten their house built and gotten it furnished before graduating to salads and eventually anything they can cook once they have the skills for it.They also often eat leftovers though they're not always quick enough in eating them up before it begins to go bad and end up eating spoiled food quite often.
I've got the canning station and the overhaul Mod so they can also make canned preserves of leftover food and store it long term.They usually do that near the end of summer and over the fall season so they're prepared for winter and prepared for supplies coming in late because of a longer winter than usual.
