I'm sure it varies depending on the game, but in your current save, what do you give your sims? At least the ones you like; I'm sure someone here will describe force-feeding a neglected stepchild bur...

Half of the time I let them cook something nice that I choose or eat the leftovers, and half of the time I let them eat something quick to save time.
