I'm sure it varies depending on the game, but in your current save, what do you give your sims? At least the ones you like; I'm sure someone here will describe force-feeding a neglected stepchild burnt waffles or something. But for the rest of us, how do you most often feed your current family? And if you're using vampires, just translate the non-drinking behavior into its logical human corollary.

1. Each sim's favorite food, even if it's of low quality2. Quick meals or a steady diet of store-bought lettuce, because I really can't be bothered - letuce, tomatoes & apples :grimace: 3. They're mostly autonomous, so whatever they want, and I just hope no one sets the kitchen on fire - they do set the kitchen on fire :grimace: 5. I send them out to restaurants, clubs, diners, etc.

In most games I'll have one sim in the household grow perfect quality harvestables for cooking, and have one sim master cooking so the meals usually come out perfect quality. Occasionally I'll use the food synthesizer instead and make sure to get that upgraded to perfect quality too. (edit: my sims cook a day or so early so technically they only eat leftovers. I find it much easier to schedule meals if everything is cooked beforehand. Still perfect quality though. When I play very long games I'll put a sim into the culinary career just to grab the level 10 reward fridge.) I use the diner, bistro, bar/concession food, and quick meals as needed or when it's more convenient.

It varies. I'm so tired of kitchen fires, that for most of my SIMS I start them off with the "Quick meals" option and restaurant food. If they work on their cooking skill, I'll start to make their favorites.In my most recent game, so far, my one SIM is up to enough cooking skill that she can make one of her daughter's favorites and her Hubby's favorite. They come out rather well too.If they're gardeners, I usually have at least one fruit/veggie/harvestable in their backpack so they can grab a quick meal if needed.

Although I do send my sims out to dinner occasionally, I prefer them to eat only perfect quality meals at home. I also like to give them their favourite meal on aging up to child because I usually do that without a cake. My sims often start in a house with an established garden of perfect plants and, even when they don't, I place a community garden nearby which has all the plants available to me which are all perfect quality, including steaks, burger patties, cheese and eggs. All my sims fish, garden and cook, so perfect quality meals are available soon after starting each new save.

My sims eat leftovers for the most part. I like to have them make something different every time they cook though.

I try to make my Sims cook and eat a wide variety of food. Since I am currently focusing on my legacy, there are a lot of different Sims with different tastes. So I try to keep in interesting at least :open_mouth:

Only the LOWEST quality meals possible, will do! Meals mostly made from cow tails and pig snouts - YUMMY! >:)

I usually get a parent of the house to cook a nice meal for breakfast or dinner, if they have the time. If I have nothing to do with a Sim because they're home alone, I might get them to make something.

On the other hand, if a Sim is late getting out of bed for school or work, or I just had no time to get a Sim to make anything, I usually get a Quick Meal, or the same applies if I have a Sim doing something else and I forget they have work in an hour, so I need to feed them.
