Hey everyone. :) I've been playing Sunset Valley (along with the W mod) and I just made some CRAZY things happen yesterday and today with the Langerak Family. Hee hee ;) Well, I thought I would pick on this family for the fun of it. They seemed to have some dysfunction going on. Iliana (the mom) is a workaholic, Dustin (the dad) is lazy but loves family (he was in the criminal career when I started playing them. Not a good suit for his personality so I made him quit. He now has a part-time job at the bookstore). Their daughter Kaylynn seems to take care of everything while her older brother Parker, rebels and pays more attention to wooing girls than anything else. And to add craziness to the family, Iliana's sister Zelda Mae needed a place to live so, in she went. That is the original story of this family. Now for what I did to them. Lol! ;) Iliana didn't like how much of a slob Dustin is and he in turn didn't like how much of a workaholic she is. And little did Iliana know that her husband and sister were...doing a lot of romantic things in secret while she was at work. ;) Well, for a while she didn't know but then she was able to catch on. In anger she turned to her secret crush from work (Thornton Wolff) and begin having romantic relations with him. Meanwhile the kids are not exactly sure what has been going on...and Dustin and Zelda Mae had a risky woo hoo one night. Zelda got pregnant days later. At this time Dustin decided he had enough with Iliana and divorced her. Iliana then moved in with Thornton. Later, minutes before Zelda went into labor, Dustin proposed to her. The kids were pretty happy about it, they never saw much of their mother anyway. (Funny, this new baby would be their half-brother AND cousin...weird. ;) ) A baby boy was born and they named him Link (sorry, I couldn't help myself ;) ). Dustin and Zelda go off on a honeymoon and leave Parker and Kaylynn to care for the baby and the home while they are gone. (Seriously?) Well, Dustin asks the girl he's had a crush on for a while to Prom (River McIrish) and they go together and end up falling so hard for each other they become boyfriend and girlfriend. The next day, with the parents still gone, Parker is DYING to see River again and goes over to her house. They get frisky and...I'm pretty sure River is pregnant. Lol! And that's where I left my game for today. Had to get back to reality. :) I love how I can screw up sims lives or make them do things I would NEVER DO!!! It's so much fun! ;)

Pablo, Jennifer, Adriane, Rochelle, and their dog Joy moved into The Quarterround just inside the walls of Praaven.
~texansky~ I checked out their new home and it is suitable for the family for the foreseeable future. It is a two bedroom, two bathroom home. The main bedroom on the second floor has a double bed, while the children's bedroom on the third floor has two twin beds and a crib. All I had to do was add a food bowl for Joy.
Holden Wozny has been talking to a neighbor about his writing.

Bertram and Malika finally finished their homework at 1:20 and Bertram headed for home. They are going to be dead tired in the morning. Good thing it's Saturday and they can sleep in.

Malika: Two. Two. My sister Teri just had her birthday and just school this week. Justina is the baby of the family. She crawls around and gets into everything! I have to watch her like a hawk.
Bertram: It sounds like you enjoy your family.
Malika: Yes, my parents are wonderful, and my sisters are good most of the time.
Bertram: Would you like to watch the stars with me?
Malika: I would like that.

And then Topher Baker showed up showing his disapproval of Malika. Spencer and Topher left, so Bertram asked her to break up with Topher. Then Topher and Spencer returned, and when she agreed to break up with Topher, he ran off, clearly upset.
At this point, they decided to call it a night. Bertram was looking forward to going to the dance with Malika.

They now live together between the market and the southern tournament grounds in the village of Tovar. Hopefully, this will encourage them to marry.

Bertram and Avery both received creepy dolls in the mail from a distant cousin when they were infants. Jarret kept busy cooking, repairing the shower and toilet, and washing clothes in the washtub. He didn't get out fishing very often.
Rebeca spent most of her time tending the garden and teaching skills to Bertram. She completed her lifetime wish of growing the perfect garden. She would go to the grocer periodically and receive about §1,900 per trip for her perfect produce.

Bertram traveled a great distance to Praaven to attend school. He worked hard and managed to get high marks on his schoolwork. He spent much of his time baking on the toy stove and mastered his cooking skills.
Jarret went to the bookstore and purchased more recipes and the second cookbook in the series. He spent the afternoon reading the recipes and the new cookbook. When he finished reading the last recipe, he completed his lifetime wish of becoming a culinary librarian.
The family managed to survive the short winter. Jarret built a chess table and carved the pieces with care while Rebeca taught Avery to use the potty and walk. Bertram was excited to learn to play and spent weekends practicing.
Rebeca also spent much of her time sewing new outfits for everyone as their other clothing was in the stolen dresser.

Bertram spent some of his time taking care of Avery; putting him to bed, getting him up, and feeding him on the floor and in the high chair.

Right after his birthday, he wanted to learn to write, so on Sunday Avery went to Praaven to take a writing class at the merchants' guild. Jarret purchased scribbling pads for both boys, and Avery started writing a novel, Adriana Goes to School.

This makes Bertram the heir of the second generation. I'm not sure what he will do with his life. He will likely continue the garden and the bees and may do some writing to bring in Simoleons.
I don't think I ever shared Jarret and Rebeca's traits.
Jarret is an angler, handy, a natural cook, a loner, and loves the outdoors.
Rebeca is eco-friendly, a gatherer, has a green thumb, artistic, and nurturing.
In my next post, I will update you on the happenings around town. There have been many babies, couples going steady, getting engaged, or married. A few pets have been adopted as well.
Move completed. I think my brain turned to mush. I am now awake at 3:45AM trying to figure out how to organize our room. Today is going to be so much fun (gonna be spent trying to organize our room into some semblance of order - we got in at roughly about 7PM last night. It was mainly dinner and I basically passed out on our bed which I somehow managed to get down on the floor without putting the box-spring right through the laminate flooring. It took at least four hours for our cats to settle down after being moved in the back of a truck.

In episode 15 a group of sims from the main household travelled to Mountain Lake and moved into the household of Gary Flower-Walker and his wife Donna.
In this episode the travelers and members of the Flower-Walker household focus on gaining skills and reading recipes and fishing bait books. As they progress through their skill gains they age up, so there are several birthday parties in this episode.
It is a busy episode and we see the sims working on gaining skills such as inventing, discovering potions, researching alchemy, sculpting, gardening, making elixirs and potions, going to school, playing on their computer and dancing.

As you can see there is a lot of potential for fun and games in this episode. Different sims come and go. They get up to autonomous antics, but focus mostly on the tasks I have set for them. Sometimes unexpected things happen.

I have been a bit busy lately. Orchid Tantai, Camellia's fanboy, he is proficient in firearms, and they have never met before. He was accidentally killed by officers when as a copycat of Camellia many years ago. I have said a long time ago that in my Moonlight Falls game, besides HL, there's also another supernatural fanatic, Raven, but she is more rational. Raven and Camellia have some similar appearance traits, so Orchid speculates that she might be Camellia and plans to follow her (after all Orchid and Camellia come from an era without cameras and social media). I plan to put Orchid in Raven and River's residence as an unplayable ghost.
And who remembers the story between Camellia Feng and Daffodil Chunyu? And Daffodil also have a real life reference, It's just that his real life references haven't been parodied here like the other two.
When I finished Orchid's character setting, I originally planned to burn joss paper on his real life reference's Steam profile, but I heard it has been deleted. I can only find accounts that are very likely to be high imitation accounts.
Ugh, packing stinks. Not looking forward to trying to get the cats into their carriers. ~sigh~ ?. I’m gonna get clawed to pieces tomorrow, as if I don’t already have scars enough. Well legacy is definitely on hold until we get to the new place, but as @Featherbelle says, “THIS is the LAST time!” ?. Once I get my computer set back up, I need to get busy and get some screenshots.
