Regarding "worst" traits, it depends. I think mean-spirited is really disruptive in a relationship, but it's awesome in sims you often meet. "Inappropriate" is a trait I like, and I often had sims in the family who have it. The reward trait "Inappropriate but in a good way" takes much of the bite out of it without nullifying the trait's effects. I got used to "Diva", as many IF's get that trait. "Proper" is annoying, yes. "Neat" can be a real obstacle without the use of NRaas Relativity. "Hydrophobic" is a necessary trait for simbots, so some of my former simbots have that.
But this is about "worst traits". If I look at traits I regularly remove, then it's really about those from expansions where I don't use the content. This means Dog Lover, Cat Lover, Animal Lover, Equestrian, Sailor, etc. As sims with Photographer's Eye will often be put into a self-employed career with that focus by SP, I'm fine with that one for inactives, but not in the active family (I don't like the detrimental savegame effects of photographs).
The one from the base game that usually meets this fate: "Never nude". You take a bath with pants on? Riveting.
