I prefer to start out with a single Sim and maybe a pet for company, simply because I don't want to have too much on my plate when I'm introducing a new Sim into the town. I let them find their footing first (work on skills and career) for a little while at least before I start pairing them up. Why male Sims, I'm not entirely sure, but I guess it's because I'm generally better at creating male Sims in the first place :tongue:
