What is your favorite thing that occurred in Sims3?

Betty Simovitch agreed to woohoo with my sim in the elevator at an apartment lot,we went in and shortly after the doors went open she threw me on my tushy.

This happened before I was playing with any mods. My most favorite thing that happened was this. I was playing a sim who was married to Christopher Steel. Before they got married, the game decided to turn him into a vampire, and later he asked the sim I was playing if she wanted to be one as well. I forget exactly how the game worded it. Anyways, I had her agree, and she too became a vampire. Shortly after that, the game started having problems so I saved them to the bin, and moved them to Bridgeport. At the time I was still learning all the do's and don'ts when it came to keeping vampires alive. Because of him staying out in the sun a bit too long, he ended up dying, and his wife was devastated. So her search for how to bring him back to life started. During this time she got a job working at a restaurant, and building her skills needed to make this all happened, and waiting for that special phone call. After a very long time, she had finally learned how to make the dish that brings a ghost back to solid, and the stuff needed to make it. During this time she had also done an ice sculpture of her dearly departed husband.

Now to my favorite part. After she was able to bring him back to life, and without me prompting them to do anything, they woohooed, and she ended up pregnant. They ended up having a baby girl, and the only child that they ever had.

In my first game in Bridgeport, I played a single female pianist, with plans to start a band. On her first day, she went to the theater to take a piano class. Matthew Hamming was there, and she asked for his autograph. He hit on her. So I had her try to impress him. It's been a long time, so I don't remember whether she was able to impress him enough to socialize with him, but it seems she must have. A day or two later, he came to her apartment to visit her. While there, he started flirting with her, and they ended up going outside to watch the stars. By this time they were romantically involved.

A day or two later, he invited her to his house for a party, but she was the only one who came. As I was choosing interactions for her to do with him, I found one asking him to break up with another woman. He was not going steady with anyone on that day that he visited her at her home. A day or two after that, he was at Marina Field as my sim was passing by. I decided to get some revenge on him for two-timing her. Of course, the paparazzi were there taking pictures and notes. I had my sim walk up with him and spam romantic actions with him, including lots of kissing and making out. The plan was to make the other woman angry with him for cheating.

The next time my sim saw him, he was no longer going steady with the other woman. I wanted to know what had happened, so I saved, then switched households to check on his relationship with the other woman, and his moodlets. He was still good friends with the ex-girlfriend, and had no negative moodlets from breaking up. So apparently, he and the other woman just decided they didn't want to be together after all. My sim eventually married Matthew, and they had two children together.

I once had a sim living in Bridgeport start a day care in his apartment. A vampire dropped off her daughter and when she came again very late she died of starvation and haunted the apartment every night.

One of my more recent ones was when I was trying out playing a witch. My sim cast the fire spell in the lot before leaving for work and that ended with 2 sims dying their spouses crying since the whole neighborhood came to the giant fire. Later he used the haunting curse and it backfired killing him, I was going to let his girlfriend get him back with the long way when I remembered I had grims house from the store.
She went over to from and I chose reincarnation thinking it would bring him back. Nope, he turned into a kitten -_- I quit without saving XD

My sim was at work all day and when she came home she accused her boyfriend of cheating but he had been home all day with the kids. Paranoid much? Lol Needless to say, they went their separate ways. Lol

Gosh, reading all of your comments is making me realize how much I missed in TS3. I think it's the game I've played the least and I have Sims 2, 3, and 4. It has some awesome features, but the graphics have always deterred me from playing. I recently installed it on my Mac again and started playing and remembering how fun it is. I only have Pets & Generations installed because I don't want to overload my computer. My hope is by Christmastime this year is to buy a desktop that I can load all three games to (Sims 2 is on my boyfriend's laptop).

I remember really loving the celebrity system in Showtime.

I remembered when I was playing in Sims 2, my sim was having a pool party. He went to his room and was waiting for his girl to join him. She had been in the hot tub too long and just as she made it to his room, she spontaneously combusted! LOL I couldn't believe it!

I don't know if I should call this a favorite or not but...
There was a time when I couldn't travel to the future because whenever I tried and spoke to Emit, he would never give my sims the almanac of time, for the longest of times I thought it was because my saves were old and made before having ITF, so I let it slide. After a year or so I decided I wanted to try the time traveling thing so I made a new save specially for this purpose and... it did not work, Emit still wouldn't give the almanac of time nor an opportunity to my sims, strange. I tried everything, resetting him, the lot, my sims, everything with master controller and nothing, I went and search for solutions on google and I couldn't make it work.
I was basically fed up with the whole thing, but I tried one last time with the Langeraks, I loaded them and spend the whole first day of the save having Zelda practically befriend Emit (I cheated their needs and ignored the rest of the family) and by the time the sun was about to set... the sky got dark all of a sudden
!!!
I moved Zelda out of the way so she wouldn't end up being killed by the meteor BUT it managed to absolutely destroy the time portal!! and Parker died I was left speechless with my jaw getting acquainted with the floor and all I could think at the moment was "Is this some kind of signal?! I should not travel to the future?! is my game trying to tell me something???... wait, what about Emit?! he's now trapped here forever!! what about the f- ahhh!!"

I did not save that day and went to bed with an existential crisis...

My friend (who has TS2 & TS4) came over to my house to play TS3. She created a sim and sent her off to university. Upon arriving to the dorms, a townie walked by (Holly Gabrielson I believe). Holly had a thought bubble with my friend's sim's face in it. My friend immediately said to me "She's talking about me! I have to kill her." Luckily, I have the Dexter the Bear mod from Nraas.

I buy the bear. My friend chooses how she would like to kill Holly. The sim goes up to Holly and stabs her. The grim reaper shows up. However, he resurrects Holly! It was the craziest thing ever (I had never seen anything like that). Now all the dormies hate my friend's sim lol
