Babies...already had my fill of changing diapers and feeding in RL, thank you very much, 2AM
Mid-April 2002: @Featherbelle "Honey...our kid's awake...."...Me: "Mmmphfghrrrr..." - stagger over to baby's bedroom, like a Sims 3 Zombie after midnight looking for brains, probably walking into three or four walls enroute, while Mom is going... "Hurry up..." Proceed to get promptly peed on while changing the little one's diaper and then have to wipe it off with a damp washcloth. "Thank you for the impromptu shower, kid" and stagger back off to the bedroom to try and sleep.
Now if there was animations like that in Sims 3...that would make for fun interactions with said baby....
But there isn't... so that's how come I pretty much fast-forward through that stage (max 3 days - EA Minimum ( they usually start annoying me by day 2 if they start to annoy me - which they usually do... so birthday cake...age up).
However if they were fully "FLESHED OUT" as interacting...but then again RL babies tend to lay in their crib and look up at the sky or if they aren't in their crib, they're usually wiggling lumps in one's arms, either protesting that they're hungry, want a diaper change or what-not.
