@igazor - Maybe I misunderstand the LN Graveyard situation. Not uncommon, I always thought that place was kind-a-sort-a like Beau Merricks 'play den' *wink *wink. But, no, they don't go that far onto the lot to make it to the...er...underground bar(?). They stop slightly past the statue at the front of the lot.
I don't have as big of a crowd of Townies in my worlds as you may think. I control my populations manually (thought I once told you that, could be wrong). So, the massive amounts of Sim you think may be showing up at the Graveyard isn't very massive at all. And, yes, every Single Sim will show up to do the touch and go at the Graveyard every night. Not all at once, but during the allotted time frame.
When I play in Pure Base, with all the natural townies in game, they do the same thing but differently. The entire town will still show up but, you may have 3 households show up on Monday, 4 different households show up on Tuesday and 3 different households show up on Wednesday, until the entire town 'eventually' shows up; everybody does it. Putting anything around my Graveyard won't matter because they won't be there long enough to care. The fact they go to the Graveyard doesn't bother me at all, I just wanted to know the story behind the action. So, there is nothing to try to put a stop to.
No resistance, on a common sense level it does make sense why not to make this a feature of the game (population/resources, routing, etc). But, on a realistic level you have to keep in mind that programmers are still people and people will do what they want if the a) the desire is strong enough and b) they are afforded the opportunity.
So, when it comes to speculation about what the programmers would or would have not placed in this game on purpose, please don't be too surprised. We've all seen visual things which shouldn't be in the game, name of 'Roaring Heights School', anyone. Audio which shouldn't be there cause "Sometimes things just slip out." said the voice actress in an interview. And, programming which was not a part of the original plan (Gay or Bi Sims), anyone? While I can't say for definite what this is or even if it has any real meaning at all. I can only go by the fact that it happens, in my game, in all worlds (including) the Simmer made one every night. Maybe it wouldn't happen if I played with full populations or all the stuff I have for this game installed or modded to the hilt. I can't say.
But, under no circumstances do I wish, want or desire to change this action. It's a part of them and I'll leave it like that.
