When does the Sims 3 take place?

Hopefully I'm not copying another thread but let me know if there is a thread active on here...




I think the Sims 3 takes place in around 1975, because of the culture and lifestyle.



(I'm not including the technology into account)

    Yeah. The fact that each game is a period piece of their time adds to the confusion as well.

    Bella is a child in sunset valley, but in lunar valley she is an adult. So the game really jumps around.

    well wait a minute. I haven't resurrected her yet. I'm assuming she is an adult because that's what Sim Lore implied in one of their vids.
