When We Laugh and Make Rude Gestures at the Game

I know there have been loads of threads like these over the years, but I don't recall one with this subject line exactly.

This just happened today. My sim aged up to YA, finally he is again in the same age group as his one and only Romantic Interest. Waited so long for this, the timing is right, both are in great moods, nervous and with sweaty palms he's ready to ask to go steady.

The game goes "ding!" and here comes the response and the happy announcement!
"Congratulations, the adults in your household have won a free vacation! Would you like to take it now?"

In how many different ways can I respond, "Heck no, leave me and my sims alone with that nonsense"? :p

The real game response, a happy "Yes!," came a few seconds later. :)

As long as it's one of your own fingers and not someone else's you keep in your desk drawer just for such occasions, I would say that's totally acceptable. ;)

    :o :fearful: :D

  • I lost my John to old age yesterday but his husband, Jordan, is still alive. When I called the family to dinner, Jordan took a long time to sit down and I said "Don't die, eat your fish and chips". My son started laughing and said "Now that's a quote!" :p

When I get that pop-up, I generally say "What kind of fool do you take me for" with a few choice adjectives thrown in for good measure ;)

It would be really funny if the game could hear us ask things like that and then answer. Maybe in a future version. :p

Just what we need. A game stalking "Alexa" . Why not throw in google translate so we can translate similish into English which i'm sure would be translated incorrectly. Sims could also send text with wrong spelling and make other sims mad or laugh depending on how the message is misspelled. Text the wrong sim by accident to cause more chaos :p
