I love Sunlit Tides right now, but I just can't bear to part with fall and winter. They're the best seasons! So it's going to be snowing on some palm trees soon. C'est la vie.

I just use NRaas Tempest to edit the weather patterns so fall and winter would be much warmer and not get tons of snow as the winter would just be mostly rainy though still mild with above freezing temperatures while fall would be still like summer in the daytime with temperatures dropping lower at night for some overnight cooling.

I play Lucky Palms the most and have it set to only summer and a short spring.And if using Sunlit Tides or IP would have the same.

Summer only, but then my sims only visit tropical worlds on holiday, usually when it's autumn or winter in their homeworld. :smile:

I actually do allow winter (all 4 seasons) in Sunlit Tides. In Isla Paradiso I just allow summer, spring, and autumn. All other worlds get all seasons although all my saves just use 1 week of winter vs. 28 days of the other seasons. I don't like winter but I like the winter festival and the Christmas Bonuses they get in winter.

I allow all seasons, I just turn off Snowy weather. That way I still get all the festivals, but inaccurate weather doesn’t ruin the immersion.

When you play tropical worlds do you still allow fall and winter?

Lake effect snow. OUCH... :D So how many times have you had to dig out your car from three to four feet of snow? :D That...lake effect can be pretty nasty in terms of quantity of snow generated.

Nope...can't win for for the life of me. If it wasn't snow in Edmonton, it's rain here...and dodging umbrellas so that you don't get poked in the eye.

Thankfully, we live at the edge of the lake effect's reach, so we don't get it as bad as my parents, who live 12 miles west of us. My husband has a pickup truck with a snowplow, so he goes and takes care of it for them too.
