Hello! My Sim is diver lvl 8 and and I still haven't seen any mermaids! Any ideas on where I could find some?Thanks in advance!!!

The first time I ever dived in the newbie dive spot (which you have access to at level 2 diving skill), I was surprised to turn around and see Triton King (mermaid king?) there. It was a good thing too, because my Sim hadn't encountered any other people before then and was very lonely (just saw a bunch rush to the beach to jump in their speed boats and zoom away). Based on that experience I think that mermaids probably randomly show up anywhere.

Jbrightman6: just saw your question. You can snorkel anywhere, which builds diving skill. Also, you can take classes at the science center. Once you're high enough level you have access to dive spots, which are marked on the map when you zoom out.

Get this I saw my dirt mermaid in sunset valley :shock: !!! I guess they really can be ANYWHERE!

just go to the first dive spot you can. thats where i met mia and now im a mermaid too haha

@MUSICSEASON, I'm guessing that you're playing Sims 4 by your posting history, so if that's the case, then you might be better off looking for existing threads over in The Sims 4 Expansion Pack section and asking over there as this is a thread about Sims 3 mermaids from 2013...?
