I think they both look great. I was so sure I was going to like the dark roof best till I scrolled down. :D I think the brown roof looks best with that chimney and it really makes the home look warm and inviting, especially when you add in the arch and bush fencing to the edge of the lot.

Looks like she's using the chimney pieces from 'The Brunch At The Old Mill' set. I'm pretty sure those ones are recolorable.
