Can't use CC eye color?

Well, I won't be getting OR or GTW until all my cc is fixed. I am not playing without them.
But first I must check to see what the damage is.

I agree. I need default eyes ASAP. Thats the only CC it seems to be affecting on my end but then again I don't use much.

Same problem with me. CC for default eyes are unusable with no color swatches, but non-default eyes seem to work.

I use non-default CC eyes and no matter how much I try, if I use CAS.fulleditmode and try to change Child Sims' eyes from the defaults to the nicer CC ones, it won't let me. Once I leave CAS, it goes right back to what they were before. Really frustrating.

Just looked at that thread and can I say I'm like...enthralled by how attentive the guru was? Not only addressed the concern, but noticed what caused it and stated that they were taking the steps to getting it fixed by the next patch.

Which only makes me think that once we hit the new patch, all of the freshly updated mods will end up breaking again! :D

Yup. My game is completely unplayable right now... A patch has never affected my game so much... I'm supposed to through each and every piece of cc and every mod to see which DOESN'T affect my game?? Right.

I am starting to go through mine now. My grass replacement works, and that makes me happy. Hair seems to work. I am about to test eyebrows, which is known to have issues. I will probably just replace them slowly over time. I am guessing my replacement eyes don't work either. I think I can live with the game until I replace my broken CC.

I was going to start a fresh game anyway with the new EP, so I am not losing much. I wasn't playing my sims seriously as the base game wasn't that much fun and I had no desire to raise families. I can just start my YAs again in a new game.


Yup, I tossed in my make-up folder which includes eyebrows and it locked up the game at the start screen. I removed items I thought would be safe and the game is working now. I will test my S-club eyebrows one at a time, those are the only ones among the rest that I value. Why did it have to be those? :p

My default eye replacements work, so the only thing I seem to be missing so far is eyebrows that I like. S-Club will eventually fix those. I think I'm good to go.
