I tend to play my own Sims for the most part, often in empty custom worlds that I populate myself. However, when I first started out I played premade Sims a lot, especially in SV. I got to know all the families there and enjoyed pairing up the singles in varying combinations.
My favorite came to be the Crumplebottom household. Agnes has such a tragic backstory and I felt compelled to give her a nice life. Sometimes that involved resurrecting Erik Darling, reuniting them and filling that empty, unfinished nursery. Other times I would have her move on instead, often moving into another house for a fresh start. Or I’d have her move in with the Goths so she wouldn’t be alone while she got herself together. I’d eventually pair her with someone else, usually with Connor Frio. They always had at least two children, and shared reading and writing space in a very nice home library.
Another SV fave when I wanted a lot of drama was the Wan-Goddard household, lol. Hank and Pauline were always on-again/off-again, breaking up other relationships with their cheating ways and sometimes marrying and divorcing and even marrying one another again in between their flings. In one game they had twins together and then divorced after Hank got pregnant from an alien abduction.
Lucky Palms and Midnight Hollow have a lot of great premades that I like interacting with too.
