Why does this happen?

So, I don´t know why this happens all the time after moving?
Everytime I come back from a holiday or a move with the family the floor in this house looks like this

I have to recolor the floor every time, just copying the floor and replacing it doesn´t work, I have to recolor the tiles.
After the recoloring the floor looks normal again.

Why does this happen?

    If it only happens with that type of flooring then I'd guess it's just a graphical glitch related to that flooring specifically. Traveling in TS3 always likes to be wonky in whatever way it can. But, hey, at least this is fixable (albeit annoying). :smile:

    @AlexaKry I think The Sims 3 just likes to play evil tricks on us players sometimes! :tongue:

    @Emily4331 : it has it´s own mind, hm? :D
    I always compare it to a big diva! Sometimes the game cooperates, sometimes it just needs some attention and sometimes it has a very bad day!
    ;)
  • I have this issue with kitchen counters instead of floors, its so bizarre! I don't have a solution unfortunately, but atleast you aren't alone!

    I always wonder where the game stores all these obsolete data. No wonder you have to trim the savegames all the time.

    Sometimes after moving things around, my corners switch to another color and then it's hard to get them right permanently (and it might spread to other counters). It's only happened twice, but the second time was just last night, annoying!

    @Emily4331 : thanks for the answer!
    Yes, it´s easily fixable, but, as you said, annoying! And it´s not just this floor, some wood floors do behave such strange as well!
    I really wonder why this happens? :o

    @Goulsquash : you´re right! If it were just me, then there would be something going awfully wrong with my game and I don´t like to search through all the cc and mods to find out, what went wrong this time! :D
