Rflong - don't feel bad I have no ambition at all for running anything - not a restaurant or resort as I purely hated OFB and had such bad experiences with it - it still affects me all these years later - so as far as I am concerned they can be there - and the NPCS can have a ball with them as I am not the least bit interested. I do enjoy sending my sim to the restaurant - well 2 times anyway - but I have no inclination to run one. hehehe. I like the way business run in the coming Future pack - we have a mall and can shop and it will suit me fine as long as it runs itself. My only encounter with the IP resort - that real fancy one was when my sim had to deliver some produce there and they would not let her in. What kind of resort won't let a person in? Generally you do not have to stay at a resort to use their amenities as long as you pay. So I found that odd. Made me want to delete every last one of them as they are wasting my space. But I haven't... yet anyway.
But I do sympathize as nothing could make me run one. I will feel bad if you go to all that force play to check yours out and I know I am not even going to use it. It seems like the more I hear of the trouble people have with those the even less I am inclined. I am just liking all the water stuff.
OH my - getting back to normal? I did not know things were not normal. But then again I am even oblivious to that in my own house, as I see Pete write that kind of thing now and then to some one on his pc - and leaves me wondering what the heck he is talking about. hehehe
What? You mean everybody does not live with daily chaos as normal? Shesh - I thought that was - well , normal. hehehe
