Oh goodness, sorry to hear that DM. Hope you feel better soon.
I am hoping I don't join you on the being sick front - but today I get my flu shot in about 2 and a half hours from now. Sometimes I do fine with it and other times not so well - never mind the fact I have to go out in public. It stinks when you don't have a good immunity system. But they purposely picked a time when fewer people are out and about - either home preparing supper or on the way home from work - I guess it is a good time - but if I was trying to be sure to see less people I would have picked maybe a Mon or Tuesday about this same time of day. Which I did suggest - it's just no one listens to me as usual.
They have some of the new strains of flu added to this years shots - so I hope I react fine with them as none are any anyone wants to catch seeing they are killers in other countries from what I heard. But next month I have to go for my blood work and stuff, so they need me to get this now and see if the immunies are present and that my body is not destroying them. Sometimes I feel like an experiment of some kind. Sheesh.
Anyway, I hope you feel better soon DM and that it is not anything serious.
Rukaya well you sound like me when I tried using Origins forum which is identical to the Sims 4 - in appearance anyway - and so far it looked unchanged when I last tried it. But a sims forum I swear they are always working on and changing. Look at all the changes this one went through. From what they are saying that one is going to be the one and only - all things sims forum eventually. I guess they want to make it as awful as the EA forums are and put any and every sims game on that one forum. I can see it becoming about as useless as EA's and forget having a conversation or showing pictures if that is their role model. I used to have to use the EA one when I had Sim City or wanted info on it and forget finding anything useful.
I hope and pray it does not become like EA's and we lose all the neat links and ability to have conversations as a group. Aw well maybe I am just negatively projecting today. It is probably my "flu - shot - it is" at work here.
I hope Rflong got home okay by now and is resting up. Sound like they had a grueling week at the gamescom. Some of the Twitter feeds I have been following they were posting pics of their daily tickets and scheduals, as they even had a number of tours and other things besides gamescom - and I have to tell you that would have been a total nightmare for me. Their wake up call was like 5 am - half the time I am not even in bed by 5 am. hehehe
Not that I'd ever be able to do anything like that anyway, it's probably a good thing I can't go on airplanes or into crowds anyway. But it was fun seeing all the pics I have seen. I enjoyed what I saw of all our simmers there. It was funny the first day with all the simmers in their plumbob head bands and green campshirts - by the end of this week I don't think anyone was wearing the plumbobs and all so I do see a lot of really tired simmers. On top of it not all were leaving today as I read where some were staying through the week end too.
That is a hardy bunch of ladies and gentlemen for sure.
I guess the guru's were used to all that as not one of them look ragged in the least. Can't imagine how they do it.
