TammieJo - well a while back I know there was a video that showed how to drop down the lot to place a lot the person had made in a different world into the world they were building - where they laid the lot a bit bigger than their dive lot and then dug it out like they were building a basement on a lot, and placed their finished dive lot into that basement so it made it drop down a full floor level. The simmer used one of those water surface attack sharks on the top of her dive spot so that they could see the top of their lot and could see when it was dropped down sufficient enough not to be a problem on the surface of the water. In fact I believe the actual lot was a lot from the EA world they had expanded on, which as we were told are all too deep to use in a CAW world. I was told that a CAW world cannot go as deep as an EA world.
Because the lot they placed was bigger than their dive lot they were able to smooth the land surrounding the dropped down area so it did not look funny underwater.
I will see if I can't find that video for you and you can see how they did it.
ETA - okay - it was Wealbet that has the tutorials - BUT that is not the issue after all - as I was told that if the lot is too high the buoy would be floating in the air and not at water level like it is supposed to be. That as long as the buoy sits at water level there is plenty of space for even the biggest boat - plus I guess the boat would also raise right out of the water and sort of float over any high spots - that it would not cause any stuttering or hesitations.
So that idea bit the dust. And it is safe to say your dive lots are fine and the right depth.
Back to the drawing board.
