I have had sims visit both alternate future.

New type of dig site called a rainbow knoll
well what do you know,there is sometimes a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow
Giant flowers that you can get dew from
and turn your sim into the colors of the rainbow
Giant rainbow snails...perhaps the other,other white meat

I haven't spent as much time in the Dystopian future as I have the Utopian one.Dystopia is mainly full of trash piles and everyone even the bots are in desperate need of a shower.A slob sim would enjoy it immensely.
