I am having fun but I swear sometimes after all the heartache of getting used to S2 maps I just wish I had more choice in S3 sometimes to fill the spaces around the lots which after a long learning curve I ended up finding it is so much easier to do in S2 than S3 which is fixed to a map specific terrain and @Evalen I am not sure if you ever played the S2 series but if so this is one of @rflong7,s S2 maps that she kindly changed for me way back when to add beach lots that I could not do myself and showcases her talent and kindness between both series of the game. I still play in this S2 world today and just for comparison to S3 :)

@SPARKY1922 You made me laugh, My brain was not working, when you said the S2 maps, then my brain kicked in and I realized you were meaning the Sims 2, Yes I did play the Sims 2, but only their own worlds, at that time I was not into loading other worlds or lots. I started when the sims first came out, My granddaughter gave me the sims 1 for my birthday and have been playing ever since. I do have the sims 2 on my computer but have not played it lately, I did like it also. I gave my sims 1 to my great-granddaughter and now I wish I still had it. I have sims 4, but somehow I cannot get my head wrapped around it. I guess I love sims 3 the best. but I did love sims 2 also. it was a lot of fun

@Rflong7 Sorry, got sidetracked. So I finally found the lighthouse but it sticks up out of the water and I don't have the islands surrounding the main island. What have I done wrong?!

@Rflong7 Oh dear, I didn't have IP enabled when I installed! Reinstalled with IP and now I have distant terrain. Thank you :smile:

I confess to having a giggle at your lighthouse in the water pic but glad you worked out what was wrong-)

@Evalen my first ever sims game was the 3 series so my instant default goes to the love of that series but when EA offered the full series of S2 I decided to give it a go and to say I was tearing my hair out in no time is quite the understatement but I did come to love the depth of the sims reactions, the shopping, dating and a host of other animations that i really wish has also been added to the S3 series or even 4..

looking at your sim pics makes me envious because my digital origin sims 3 game is ruined and has been for a while yet I keep the series downloaded in the hope that someday i may find a fix but sadly hope has now faded and it's time for me to uninstall the game completely and concentrate on my disc game on another hard drive because I am simply wasting my time and efforts continuing to keep the digital game going. I cannot even take a pic of my sims in this world to post on this thread as then you would be able to see how distorted my sims actually are in game.

I will be back when I have moved everything over to my disc game :)

@SPARKY1922 I like the sky with the clouds. I do not use mods, I never had, but I do like some of the pictures that people take and show that do use mods. When Sims 2 came out I loved it. But my favorite is still sims 3. I do know those who still play sims 2 and it is their favorite. Some play both. As long as you are having fun, then it does not matter what one you play. there was a lot of things in sims 2 that I did l love.

My disc game is on a win 7 hard drive in my desktop but it is never allowed to touch the internet but this means I have to go offline on my pc to use the win 7 hard drive and I get fed up of not being able to jump back online if I forget something but I think i have to bite the bullet now :) I will be coming back to see more of your pics until i have more of mine :)

small 512x512 world, small country town look, with waterfall, kind of flat, but yet landscaped in arears. all land kind of usable and I can build lots anywhere and the land will let me. except on a high hills or mountain.

@Rflong7 I have tried making a world, but I am not good a landscaping at all. that is why I am wondering if there is such a world. with roads I could use to add lots.
