So I know a lot of people are disappointed with the few buildable/empty lots in the upcoming EP, but this screenshot (from the Sims Community video) seems to indicate that a lot more worlds are planned, with the way they've resized and spaced out the World menu.
Your thoughts?
Yep, seems like it... say, if we're going to have education pack, I'm expecting lots of different worlds for each institution.. or vacation pack.. there will be lots of new destinations or, they might start adding empty worlds... :o- I'd like a couple more empty worlds like Newcrest!
- HermitgirlNew SpectatorAnd those don't include vacation worlds.. Yeah I think we have a lot more to come :).
- A lot of new worlds with fewer and fewer lots in them.

I am afraid we will end up getting many Magnolia Promenade like worlds in the future - SimsAddict_244New SpectatorNot necessarily.

I'm still exited for whatever is next, big or small, and that's without counting on upcoming vacation worlds. What matters most to me is gameplay, I need more options for my stories. - So basically they're implying that the game can't handle any extra worlds of a respectable size any more. Words can't express how much that aggravates me.

Each institution would work like the active career lots on TS4 which is secret neighborhood. And the vacation worlds are in a different tab.
That is for residential worlds. - I would rather not have any new worlds then be insulted with more worlds the size of Brindleton Bay or Del Sol Valley. I refuse to pay one more dime for more useless backdrops.

I would prefer if each institution is not a secret neighbourhood. I’m expecting it to be a whole new world at least. Just like the Uni that we had in the TS2. Options to choose where to study instead of every Sims are going to the same place. Completes with clubs, restaurants, gyms, student unions, houses for your young Sims if they prefer to live off campus, public/private schools area & so on.
And yes, I‘m aware that the vacation is in a different tab. I’m expecting it will look the same too if they are going to patch it in."AlbaWaterhouse;c-16793818" wrote:

It's not so much the number of lots but the number of Sims in the world that determines performance. I've played a couple of downloaded game saves (Plumbella and Lilsimsie's) and I've noticed that they do tend to lag more than my own save, which doesn't have quite as many Sims. So if you have fewer houses and more venues, and if you weed out the Not in World population (making sure you still have Sims to fill the NPC roles) that should help improve the performance.
