@Felicity - Preliminary reports indicate that mods are a total non-issue with the new Mac version. Even Core Mods, that really should be complaining about the new 1.70 patch level and internal build number, are fine as they are as long as they were made for 1.67/69. My own limited experience with the new version supports all of the above, thus far.
Our developer at NRaas has confirmed that the game core has not really changed, although he too is puzzled why Core Mods like our own ErrorTrap aren't displaying the version mismatch warning at startup. They're all running fine, as far as we can tell though.
Whether this would be the case on a Windows 64-bit respin depends on how EA does it. The Mac version was really meant to be a compatibility update, not a fix for anything within the game itself.
