Thanks for the attention! Ever since I started playing and reading all info online I knew someday we'd establish direct contact (lol). I had thought lately that maybe the lots mods might have something to do with it and that is one I haven't tried removing ever since I came back playing. I had just installed the gray UI like 3 days days ago so I highly doubt that'll be a responsible one since the behavior has been the same prior to its installation and during me using it.
Earlier today I read another one of your suggestions on another post and just installed the Nraas Register, so I also have to test that.
Ever since I redownloaded I've been playing in Bridgeport and now I know that can be a bit messy, however, this past week I've been playing on Moonlight Falls and the behavior is the same so I'm not sure. Haven't played in SV ever since I redownloaded.
About the patterns of times when it crashes, to be honest I haven't managed to catch a certain action or movement but just earlier today I realized it happened right when one of my sims gained a skill point playing the guitar. Right when the point was triggered it crashed so that's the only time I've noticed. Once I reopened, the skill point was gained again with no issues. Trying to figure out what might cause these crashes cause it does seem to be certain actions or movements throughout the town. What other setting or mod should I try to avoid this?
@HuitFerdinand If your sims are going to travel, definitely add NRaas Traveler. It won't help with the crashes you're currently seeing if they're not travel-related, but it will replace the travel transition with a version that's much more stable. Considering supernaturals are in your game, NRaas Hybrid may be helpful too—it supports hybrid states but also fixes a few issues with single occult states.
I would also recommend NRaas MasterController for its option to reset the entire town (NRaas > Mc > Town Options > Reset Everything). This can sometimes help with a crash that's repeating itself and is good for the overall health of your save. If you don't want your sims reset too, there's a setting to exclude the active lot in Reset Everything, so you can run the command at night when your own sims are home. You can also reset a single sim or lot if necessary, for example I had a repeated crash when my sims went to the hospital that was resolved by reseting that lot. MC doesn't do anything on its own, so it's not going to change your experience in general.
Beyond that, it's hard to say what would help without any kind of pattern. The crash when the sim gained a guitar skill point could be a one-off, it could be because the sim was playing when you loaded the save and something was stuck, it could be a total coincidence... it's difficult to say given how many ways this game can break.

Thank you! I do travel a lot so the Traveler mod came at the best time for me. I just installed the Hybrid and MasterController mods so we'll see how it goes. Let me test with the current settings and changes and get back to you. Thank you so much for the attention and info!
