Ah, I went to the tech one and thats where I found the links to all the other things - like the Wiki and your blog etc - I did spend a bit of time in that post - but was not about to go through all those posts - but from what I saw there and your own blog is just perfect as far as i can see. The only thing I suggest to people who give you problem solving help links is for them to avoid getting too technical and keep in mind that people of all ages and numerous countries where English is not their native language will be the people reading all this help when they have a problem - so to keep it simple - no one needs technical jargon, and better yet use Sim speak when ever possible and use visions you know everyone sees in their game - so they get a connection to what you are saying and even if they don't speak much English translators work a lot better in straight forward non-technical terms than it does in tech terms. I know even knowing a lot of the tech side of things - my hubby is a pc tech and I deal with tech speak a lot - I find my eyes glaze over though if someone starts throwing it at me in a help thread - so I can imagine what happens to people with no tech experience. Steps that one takes themselves- to fix things - I find is the easiest to follow. Lay it out as if they are playing the game so players can follow along.
At least that is what I think and what I see you do, so your information is really easy for almost anyone to comprehend.
As I spend the majority of my time in the CAW forums when I am on this site - I really do not see as much help info though as you may think unless I go looking for it. I see a lot of real good info in CAW that is CAW related, but for the average simmer I don't think it would help them very much. I do go searching for other answers to problems when I encounter them - Search is my friend - and if I come across anything in any of my searches that may help I will certainly keep you in mind.
ETA - You are doing a beautiful job though - very direct and easy to understand and the indexing to find things is brillant. Looks good to me.
