Hello I have lag issues with no cc
I have a Aus gtx560 tI 900 MhZ video card with the latest driver.
I have all the addons and I pretty well all the SPs
I use avg virus protector and twallens 3 basic mods and run on Windows 7 (up to date) My computer has 6 fans in it.
The video settings are what the game set it at.
It has been checked for viruses trojan ware etc. Nothing
My computer is not cluttered with a load of junk as I had a hd
crash, lost everything and it could not be recovered so Im playing on a pretty clean computer. I have loads of space and
it does not need defragging. I therefore had to reinstall everything and did so recently.
The lag is like this. I go along then the game stops. the water keeps running in the fountains the people keep talking but nothing moves. If I hit p for pause a few times it corrects itself. Sometimes after it restarts Twallan's will issues a message immediately John got a job Mary passed away BUT not always.
It does not matter if I have one person living on a lot or 8.
Before I had Twallan's I could not play at all as I had so many cars my game would just crash or corrupt.
I clean my caches every time I exit the game. Showtime for some reason seems to work the best although it does pause.
The worst is Barnacle Bay and it is pretty unplayable. I just bought that by the way in case that has any bearing and it pauses
and pauses and pauses consistently.
I notice all games take quite long to load and save
Any suggestions appreciated. I have just lived with this as I do not have any CC from the Exchange. I do have store bought.
I had this computer made and was told it should run the Sims fine
Its actually the only game I have problems with of a irritating nature. Dragon Age Skyrim Shogun2 None of these have lag or pause issues. I am beginning to think its only me.
Could the simsport be affecting me in all games as I log into it.
Just a thought.
