You can definitely move them to other houses. No problem. I'm not sure if deleting them would be a good idea, since I don't know if they are sims that are coded into Seasons or just after-the-fact generated sims. Coded sims cannot be deleted. After-the-fact generated sims can be deleted.
I guess, if I were you, I'd just move them all into one house or merge them with other households. That will take care of your problem, and would be the safest choice.
