I have tried the Wishing well and fountain of Youth - both work but since ITF ep was installed the pixies no longer show up at the Wishing well. I know I have had my sims wish for happiness or money and never gets either just since installing ITF. Have not tried for a baby yet as I was not wanting the sim I am playing to have any kids yet. But just before I installed the actual game - which was after I installed the patch for ITF - the well had pixies, my sims eventually got money and had a happiness wish granted - but once the ep was installed no more pixies, happiness wishes granted, or money ever gotten. I have also watched the well for literally hours when lots of sims show up there and I am seeing all the sim being disappointed at not succeeding at the well. Before the ep installed I saw townies fulfilling wishes and at least 50 percent of the time walking away happy. Perhaps I have a lot of unlucky sims in the game or something - but it seems as much as I have watched it - at least some sims should make out better with the well. It does seem to be the actual install of the ep and not the patch that mucked up the works. Also I experienced IP became unplayable after installing ITF while it was still fine after just the patch - now it just keeps freezing constantly. No other world does that - that I have tested thus far but IP. It had a good deal of lag on the water before, but now it is purely not playable on land or water.
I removed LL, the TOP, the Learning Center, playpen and walker from my game - and things still seemed off - so I did a game reset and reinstalled all my store content and did not install any of the above items - no saved game, no library or saved sims. Everything is brand new and the above are issues I have seen since the reset. Then last night I had an issue with Uni where my sims graduated - she got no diploma from the college, no new trait, and even though she had a science job when she left for college - she studied and aced Science and Medicine - she did not get a better job or more money and is still in the same job and pay at the science center she had before college.
I know these are not pc - but they are new problems that were fine with just the patch and only reared it's head after installing the new ep. It appear the ep is the culprit and not the patch.
I did test the sleep pc thing, the message chair, the voodoo doll and they all seem okay as far as pc goes that no one has mentioned yet. Oh and the sauna worked fine.
Haven't thoroughly tested the wishing well yet but I did have a Sim wish for love and was successful. But come to think of it I didn't see the pixies either. I haven't tried for anything but love (and ended up backing out of that save to try and get together with another resident with success; just got to get the two married off).
