www.thesims3.com not registering my game
I've bought the sims 3 and some expansions (generations, ambitions, seasons, late night) from steam, and afterwards, I linked my steam account to EA App and downloaded The Sims 3 there as well. However, I wanted some custom content from The Sims Exchange to place a seasons lot(as I'm having issues doing it on my own) on the neighborhood I'm playing, but the sims 3 site won't register my game no matter what. - I've tried inputting any key, either the one that shows up on properties for The Sims 3 on EA App, or the expansion keys on steam to no avail... - I read somewhere online that it takes some hours for the site to update, but I've been attempting this for 2 days now... Even the EA attendant checked that my game was registered, and assumed that it must be an issue with the site. - Yes, I've tried multiple browsers( Mozilla, Chrome, Edge), just like an assistant recommended, but how would this help at all? - There's also no problem with "Verify integrity of game files" on steam, not that I think it even matters... Contacting the Ea support, the first assistant blamed all the fault on steam, that I have to contact them lol and completely dismissed me, while the second and third assistants guided me on possible solutions, but of course they didn't do anything and simply told me they were gonna report it as a bug( as if) and redirected me here -_- I'm going to be honest, I've already lost any hope as it's been too much effort with not a trace of a solution, but I'm posting here as a last resort, maybe someone has a solution to this problem and could help me out or even future people with this problem.Solved82Views0likes4CommentsContent purchased from SIMS3 online unable to download into game
I purchased a baby dragon from sims 3 online store and it does not show up in my purchase history, BUT it does show up in my download content from the actual sims 3 launch download tab. I'm unable to access the content as shown in the screen shot. The dragon valley base dlc issue was resolved, but i am still unable to access any other content like the string lights or the baby dragon. Mayank R states in the chat when i spoke with them that it remains a technical issue on their side and they are unable to resolve it until it's fixed on their end and advised me to post in the forum. Have had these issues since last year and the dragon valley issue was just resolved. Harish C was useless and unhelpful. Left mid chat while he gave me a laundry list of things to do and didn't explain how to do it or try to answer questions i had on his instructions. The disconnect made me wait an additional 25-30 minutes on top of the 40 minutes i had already waited for Mayank to answer and resolve his failure to assist.Invalid email/password
I've recently started getting an invalid email/password error when trying to log in to my store account. It was working fine at the start of the week, but I had to change my password and that's where the issue began. I know I'm typing it correctly and there are no special characters or such in my password but the game refuses to log me in. This is made harder because I'm playing on a Macbook Air and everyone that I've seen with this problem is on Windows and so the solution is for Windows, not Mac. Has anyone had this problem on a Mac? And how do you fix it?19Views0likes2CommentsLauncher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3
Game launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3, maybe someone has ideas how to fix this problem. I play in Mac. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I bought a new world - Roaring Heights Gold Edition but I can't download it in my game when launcher crashes.822Views3likes35Comments[Current Issue] Sims 3 Store world can't register/install
Overview This guide is for registering and installing standalone worlds from the Sims 3 Store, specifically those bought with money. That list includes Dragon Valley, Hidden Springs, Monte Vista, Roaring Heights, and sometimes Barnacle Bay. If you bought a Store world with SimPoints and it's not appearing in your purchase history on the Store site, please contact EA customer support and request that the SimPoints from the failed purchase be added back to your account. How to register a Store world jump to: My code doesn't work jump to: I can't install the world When you purchase a standalone Sims 3 world from Origin or the EA App, you should receive an email confirmation from EA. If you don't see this, check your spam filter. This email should include one product code per item, as shown here in the blacked-out red box: IMPORTANT: Some players have reported finding their product codes on ea.com, under Account Settings > Order History, so please look there as well. If you never received this email and it's not in your spam folder, please contact EA customer support. https://help.ea.com/en/ If you can't find the live chat option, try this link instead, while signed into this or any other EA site: https://help.ea.com/en/help-contact-us/?product=the-sims-3&topic=missing-game&category=manage-my-account&subcategory=find-missing-game Otherwise, go to this site: https://store.thesims3.com/ Sign in with the same email address and password that you use for other EA sites, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click "Redeem a Code." Enter the code you've received, and the world should appear in your account. You can then download it from your purchase history (Store > My Store Account > Purchase History) or its product page. https://store.thesims3.com/worldProductDetail.html?categoryId=12642 ↑ My code doesn't work If you are sure you've never used this code, but the Store site tells you it's invalid or already been redeemed, you'll need to contact EA customer support to ask for a refund. https://help.ea.com/en/ I strongly recommend using live chat rather than email. If you don't see the option, change the location in your browser window to U.S. or U.K., or choose a slightly different category of issue. At the moment, Sims 3 > [Mac\PC] > Manage My Account > Find Missing Game offers the live chat option below the email form. If EA support doesn't help, please say so in this thread. If support does help, please post anyway letting me know what world(s) caused the issue so we can look for patterns. ↑ I can't install the world If you're getting the "there are no packages to install" error, please see this post: Re: Sims 3 Launcher "There are no packages to install" | EA Forums - 11190163 The standard way to download a world is to go to its product page or open your purchase history (Store > My Store Account > Purchase History), then click the Download button. If this isn't working for you, try a different browser. Firefox generally works best with the Store site. It is generally unnecessary to sign into the launcher before attempting to download or install Store content. However, this has helped some players, so it's worth trying. Mac users only: if you see an Error Downloading Content {0}, please repair the game in Origin, restart your computer, and try again. If the world still won't download properly, try a clean Sims 3 user folder. Rename the existing "The Sims 3" folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to create a new folder, and try to download only that world. If it works, you can move the downloaded world from the new Sims 3 folder to the old one you renamed, trash the new folder, and change the old one's name back to "The Sims 3." Downloaded Store items are found in the Downloads subfolder and have the extension .Sims3Pack. Be sure to delete any older downloads of the world before moving over the fresh copy. If the world downloads properly but doesn't install, please try a clean Sims 3 user folder as well. Rename the existing "The Sims 3" folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to create a new folder, download only that world, and try to install it. If this works, you can install the rest of your Store content into that folder, then move over your saves and any other files you'd like to keep. Please see this guide for a list. If reinstalling all of your Store content would be a burden, or you're confused about another part of this process, please ask for further help in this thread. ↑14KViews6likes565CommentsAn Error that Support Can't Even Help With
So, I have exhausted all my options, I have contacted support multiple times over many years, and I can't even get a response or any sort of help as they just tell me that this is an old game or that they can't help with this issue. The closest I got was a person who ended up giving up and telling me to post here. So I am now. This error focuses on the Sims 3 website specifically, and on redeeming a code/store function. In short, I have had this error specifically below. I log in to my account on the Sims 3 website, I then try to redeem a code for two worlds I got in a bundle. They gave me the codes, but, I can't even get into access to the page to redeem them. It always returns this error. I then decided to test if this was an issue across multiple accounts: I created another account using a burner email, and tried to go to redeem a code. IT WORKED. I could get into the redeem a code page. So I tried logging back into my main account and IT WAS BROKEN. For some reason this error is only effecting me. This was confirmed for me when I also asked support about it, and he said it worked for him. This error is not specific to a machine, or to a browser, or a location. This has been happening regardless of machine, regardless of what browser I use, and regardless of where I am in the world. This has been going on since 2023 when I first created my account to play sims. I have no idea what's causing it, and support doesn't understand either. I must assume it's an account error because it's only this account, and I have no idea what's causing it or why, as, clearly, my burner account works. I got told to post here, so I have, and I don't know what to expect, or what help to get. What can I even do at this point? I just wanted redeem my two worlds and my chocolate fountain. :( Anything anyone can help with would be appreciated. See the error below. Thanks for reading!62Views0likes1CommentRedeem free simspoint on Thesims3.com

Any content from the sims 3 website/store downloaded within the past few months will not stay installed/show up in game. I can buy and download into the launcher. I will install it, and it says that it installed just fine. But as soon as I open the game or even close and reopen the launcher, the items are no longer installed. They are still downloaded into the launcher, but seemingly uninstalled. I just really want to use the content I BOUGHT. I still have a bunch of sims points and have stuff I want to buy. EA help advisors do not know how to solve this. I have logged in and out and cleared cache. There has to be a more complex solution to this problem.27Views0likes1Comment
