Can I download sims from origin online and then use expansion packs that are in disc form?

Sims 3 download. Can I download from origin the sims 3 game, but then use the discs for expansion packs and stuff packs? Will I still be able to play without the discs??? Does it work or do I need ...

Do I have to pay for the download online or do I just use the codes that I have in my digital copies???

Also, does sims 3 work well on mac? There's very mixed reviews!

You can use your DVD codes. If you registered the games should already be in myGames.

I don't know too much about the mac issues but there are many since Sims 3 is not native to macs. Best to ask in the mac forum on the official site. They can give you all the details.
