Recenly bought the game, and I installed the Barnacle Bay as well. I see the icon for the trash can. However, in Dragon Valley, there is no icon where I know to go to get scrap metal. Is it purposely missing? Or is it hidden? Thanks for your help!!! Emily
sometimes with worlds we need to place the lot ourselves via edit town or if your sim is an inventer he/she can buy scrap by clicking on the scraptonic workbench or once the sim has built up the inventing skill he/she can detonate items for a fee and gather the scrap
welcomes 🙂 tip when your sim can detonate things you'll know say when for example you click on the fridge the options make breakfast -make quick meal you will see an option detonate and the price to detonate be careful about detonating indoors i almost lost a sim with that so i moved the fridge outdoors then let him detonate it once the sim gets the diabolical detonator they have less of a chance of getting a cleanup fine if they detonate in community areas i.e. a bench ,b.b.q.
I finally figured this out, through a bit of trial and error. I went into Edit Town and couldn't place the Junkyard anywhere. I hit World Editor and made a new lot (50x50) and made it's 'type' Visitors Allowed. Then I was able to place Crazy Grady's Junk Stop on that lot. Good luck!
