@thebite I got the same error on my (also fully updated) install of Sims 3 just now. The error itself is generic: it doesn't necessarily mean that someone's game isn't updated.
There may be something corrupt about the download. Or perhaps it uses content you and I don't currently have installed, although that's not supposed to prevent an item from installing at all. Regardless, I'm not sure there's anything you can do here, unfortunately.
i just didn't think anyone would get my creation to work on the launcher since im feeling that one is gone for how i dont have saves to bring it back
